The ART, a hotel, is a 165-room boutique luxury hotel opened on June 16, 2015 and is located in Downtown Denver, next to the Denver Art Museum. As the fifth employee hired onto the team, I spent nine months prior to opening actively soliciting and marketing our new product and brand while cultivating relationships with prospective clients. Strategically aligned among the top luxury hotels, I built trust with customers within my territory and brought our product to life by providing visual renderings and unique experiences.

Greater Denver Area

Regionally deployed to cover the Corporate, Association and Government markets, I oversaw the West Coast Region. My duties included local calls to current and new accounts in Metro Denver and the Denver Tech Center, along with quarterly visits outside of Colorado to customers within my territory. In my role I was responsible for the entire sales process from the proposal to the contract, all while delivering the highest service standards to meet and exceed my customer’s expectations.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

Responsible for soliciting new and existing accounts for small groups within the North America market. By maintaining knowledge of market trends, partnering with our Global Sales Office and developing relationships with key decision makers I was able to maximize room rates and stretch food and beverage contributions for short term bookings and need periods. Within my first year in this role, I exceeded my personal revenue goal and closed the year at 120%, $1.4m in revenue.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

Kai, located in the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa on the Gila River Indian Reservation, is the Pima word for "seed”. Joining the restaurant in its first year of operation, I was influential in building, transitioning and maintaining ratings of AAA Five-Diamond by 2006 and Forbes Five-Star by 2011, allowing the establishment to stand apart from the rest. We did this by re-defying personalized service, enhancing creativity and providing memorable experiences to each of our guests. Currently Kai is the sole restaurant in Arizona to receive this prestigious recognition, joining the elite group of only 25 in North America.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

As a recruiter at the leading provider of IT staffing, I was responsible for sourcing, screening and facilitating ongoing relationships with qualified candidates whose skills ranged from Network Infrastructure, to Applications, to End-User Support. By evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of potential candidates, I was able to place the right people, skills and competencies into IT positions across the Phoenix market. Once a candidate was placed, I would continue to manage all of my contract employees and maintain strong relationships with them to support them throughout the project.
