    I am one of three Co-Managers of TreeTop Horizon, a ~€7m global equity fund, which is GARP in style. Each manager has autonomy over his portion of the fund and through October 10th my portion of the fund has outperformed the MSCI All Countries World Index by ~13.5% year-to-date. Key contributors to this outperformance have been Boston Beer, Nintendo, Vifor Pharma, Glu Mobile, IPG Photonics, Darling Ingredients, Kion and Maisons du Monde. I have also recently become a Co-Manager for Treetop’s Convertible International fund, a ~€87m global convertible bond fund.

The fund invested in stocks with accelerating earnings growth and an exploitable valuation discrepancy. One aspect of the job I particularly enjoyed was its breadth – my remit as a global generalist allowed me to explore opportunities across all geographies and sectors. The role encompassed idea generation, researching and modelling new ideas, monitoring existing positions and advising on portfolio composition and structure.
