Approve or deny vehicular safety inspection and issue inspection fail certificates if required. Keep records of vehicles inspected and check for illegal components installed on vehicle. Inspecting all types of vehicles, machinery, vessels, and general assets for customers to ensure the item exists and is in good working condition prior to settlement including Cars, Trucks, Trailers, Motor Bikes, Boats, Caravans and Plant Equipment.Technical Support Provision of technical support to mechanical staff and team leaders, supporting them in the mechanical aspects of all vehicles, and equipment. Provision of preventative maintenance, repairs, and technical support. Adherence to stringent quality and audit guidelines, safety standards and compliance, consistently and without question. Carry out the inspections for the statutory annual test for all classes of vehicle and ADR, Design weight and voluntary initiative inspections as required. Give support to Station Vehicle Examiner/Manager in the effective operation of the test station and where appropriate in Enforcement duties. Leadership, Management & Staff Training Training and supervision of staff in dealer certified inspections, WH&S standards and protocols where required. Show less
