At Geiger, I am currently working to help reintroduce existing product lines as a function of my team's transition to a new data platform. My main focus for this project is to utilize the Smart Assembly coding tool to automatically generate 3D models and drawings in PTC Creo as well as create a bill of materials and bill of cutting for each product as it is ordered. This process will allow for a hands off approach to the mass engineering of like items while also providing the necessary information for the creation of custom product.

Product Design Engineering-Performed engineering tasks for large scale buyout of ~300 parts by assisting in the creation of product specifications and test plans, performing tests, and creating packaging drawings and 3-D models.Implementation Engineering-Designed universal nests for automated riveting process to allow for simple changeover between part components. -Designed new bracket loading process for automated riveting machine to allow for process standardization for the loading of 9 different bracket styles with minimal changeover.-Led the scheduling and communication between departments, as well as the 3-D modeling, for the implementation of a new extrusion die design.-Created 3-D models to incorporate design changes to existing injection molds, including the addition of pressure transducers.Manufacturing Engineering-Created alert system to notify operators of low material count. -Developed labeling process to stamp identification information onto large volumes of printer ribbons. -Created 3-D models to incorporate design changes to existing injection molds, including the addition of pressure transducers.-Created an Excel macro to serve as a documentation center and search engine to improve organization and cross-shift operator communication for roll product machine.; Developed new pipe marker product from concept design through testing.-Created various 3-D models and technical drawings to support the engineering staff.
