I started my business, 9miles Media, back in 2008 when I was 14 years old.I sold my first web design project to two realtors in Sonoma County, California for $450. They had no idea that my buddy and I were teenagers, but they went on to become some of the top brokers in the state.Fast forward to today, we grew the agency from 5 to 14 people in 12 months, and now I lead the team in our office in downtown Raleigh. Now we work with incredible clients all over the country, including a mix of big brands, startups, and non-profits.This year I made the decision to share my journey as an entrepreneur to give a raw look behind the scenes of leading a creative agency, with growing pains and late nights included.And after all of these years, I’m finally taking my own medicine by doing what I’ve been telling my clients to do… sharing the journey and keeping it real while balancing the responsibilities of leading a fast-growing team.Join me on this journey of entrepreneurship, adventure, and giving back together.
