Being a nerd is the new cool. As someone who grew up in the arts and now considers it an integral part of my life and passion, I am proud to think of myself as a professional nerd in multiple facets of the music and education community.Being a percussionist, music educator, and creative, I thrive on unleashing artistic potential in others through character development, collaboration, and a fundamental framework. I help students and colleagues unleash greatness and rockstar ability through the power of music. Whether it's teaching, writing a custom arrangement, or giving a clinic, I love seeing others reach their potential.Moving from on the stage to off, I’ve had the opportunity to both travel and work locally in the United States and abroad as an audio engineer, lighting designer, and production manager for regional and national artists over the past seven years. From small, intimate coffee shops for a local crowd, to packed arenas and outdoor festivals for thousands, my work has covered a wide spectrum of venues and artists. I’m driven by the excitement and possibility that happens when each piece of the technical puzzle comes together through hard work, comprehensive planning, and creative insight.So what does this mean for you?-I don't have all the answers but I'm hungry to learn-If I can't be of help to you, I might know someone who could.I love making new connections.
