Interim Laboratory Safety Officer from May - October in both 2018 and 2019. Duties included: identifying and controlling hazards, training personnel in safety protocols, practicing sustainability and pollution prevention, complying with proper chemical and physical waste disposal, and ensuring safe working environments.

My graduate research focuses on winter fish ecology; specifically, why yellow perch (Perca flavescens) forage in the winter and whether winter foraging provides a bioenergetic benefit.
