Paraprofessional role advising 60 incoming Freshman for the entire academic year. Aim to help students successfully transition from high school to college. Work closely with a faculty advisor throughout the academic yearCommunicate on a regular basis with various university resources, including: health center, tutoring, counseling, writing center, and resident advisors.

Wrote an extensive art historical paper on the political implications of Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello. Involved writing a comprehensive project proposal to acquire the grant and performing primary research, on location, at Monticello in Charlottesville, VA.

Oversaw the hiring and scheduling of approximately 150 student DJ’s each semester. Maintained station compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. Initiated and maintained communication with other radio stations, bands, local organizations, content producers in order to help provide new programming for the station and plan events for the University and greater Tacoma community.

Worked independently researching, photographing, and archiving historical portraits.

Entered data, processed and filed invoices, organized office space, processed and packaged orders, worked with FedEx and UPS, and performed various tasks around the office. Worked for both the sales and shipping & receiving departments.
