I possess a diverse professional background that spans both healthcare and information technology. After earning an Associate Degree in Nursing from Northeast Iowa Community College in 2004 and obtaining Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, I gained extensive experience in bedside and management roles within ICU Trauma/Burn/Medical Units at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Phoenix, AZ, designated by FEMA's Southwest region.In 2019, I transitioned to a career in IT, where I currently serve as a Network Operations Specialist. My technical expertise includes working in Network Operations Centers (NOC), managing Microsoft environments (Active Directory), VPN configuration, network security, remote application troubleshooting, enterprise-level machine builds, and break/fix diagnostics. This blend of critical care and IT experience equips me with a unique perspective in solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality service in fast-paced environments.I am deeply committed to volunteering and giving back to my community, particularly through mentorship and support for underserved populations, including the homeless. My efforts focus on suicide prevention and addiction recovery. From 2017 to 2021, I served as an elected board member for the United Methodist Church in Mesa, AZ, where I oversaw budgetary matters and worked to address the needs of the community, including outreach and assistance to those in need. My experiences have strengthened my dedication to service and leadership within my community.
