Dispatched Beacon's 13 Chicagoland branches split up amongst myself and 2 other Dispatchers.Dispatch received order requests from our assigned Branch’s Inside Sales Reps via Email and Microsoft Teams and had 3-5 minutes to find a spot for the request.In all there were 60+ Drivers and 4 Roof LoadersCoordinating Fleet Maintenance with Penske Fleet Management. PM’s and Emergency Breakdowns etc...Created intricate routes to ensure that as many orders made it out by noon as possible so Roofers could finish Jobs same day.Drivers could work up to 14 hours a day and 60 hours max every 6 days (Mon-Sat) so there was a balance of deliveries and hours that had to be found so a driver didn’t run out of hours by Friday.Equipment used:Semis - 40-48ft Flat Bed along w/ Moffit attached to the rear.
