I'm a 6th year PhD Candidate in Applied Economics at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. My research focuses on urban, environmental, and public economics, and my job market paper studies how local management of water scarcity affects new housing supply and residential water use. My other research has studied mobility and gentrification, riskiness in mortgage lending, and the impacts of school choice on house prices. I'm on the 2024-25 economics job market.Previously, I worked as a research associate at the American Enterprise Institute's Housing Center, where I am now an Adjunct Fellow. I received my B.A. in Economics and International Relations from the University of Southern California.

Research Associate
At AEI, I researched mortgage lending and assessed the riskiness of today's lending standards. My primary research project is documenting the evolution of mortgage risk before, during, and after the financial crisis, which has been published as a working paper in the FHFA Working Papers Series. My other research is on housing affordability, new construction of housing, and accessing the scale of historical mortgage lending.

I worked on a team to perform market research and consult for academic and private sector organizations, specializing in the media/entertainment sector. My work varies based on our clients' needs, and it spans the research process from crafting market research studies to analyzing the results of these studies. Using SPSS and Excel, I derive insights from surveys developed for clients and work extensively to create informative graphics to display complex results from our research. Summer Intern
As an intern, I attended meetings and events about the energy sector in the EU, compiled newsletters for member organization and for public release, redesigned the newsletters and website, and promoted FOSG events and initiatives through social media.
Global Initiatives Intern
While with LAACoC, I helped to plan and execute the 89th annual World Trade Week, attended meetings of trade delegations that travel through Los Angeles, and helped build and maintain information databases on congressmen and consulates in the Los Angeles Area. I additionally wrote trade briefs to inform members of developing trade-related news, and produced Certificates of Free Sale for businesses exporting their goods.

My role required two foci: student engagement, and hunger advocacy. As a representative of Hillel, I helped recruit Jewish members of the USC community to come to all kinds of events that Hillel holds including my own.
