Current- Designed shell and tube heat exchangers while applying knowledge of ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 Code and TEMA recommendations
- Reviewed customer specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the clients’ design criteria, schedule, and budget to create an approved design that met all requirements
- Provided mechanical calculations using COMPRESS software to determine the appropriate design from concept to fabrication
- Worked with drafters to generate engineering drawings in compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and company policy
- Selected proper weld procedures to be used in fabrication of the heat exchanger
- Communicated with customers and shop personnel internally and externally to provide engineering assistance on technical issues and/or concerns that arise
