Responsible for maintaining safety, quality, velocity and cost metrics for area while working with a diverse work group.• Scheduler for core room operations • Train operators • Maintain 5s and safety in area • Coach fellow employees in day to day activities and process improvement • Investigate scrap • Ensure execution of schedule based on line up • Perform change over between patterns and part numbers • Build patterns for part setup • Lock out tag out certified • Inspect parts and ensure correct stacking procedures on pre-melt process • help ensure operators understand standard work • Initiate and assist maintenance on working on core machines
