I am a researcher and program evaluator at the Arizona Center for Rural Health. I assist with opioid prevention projects, with a focus on improving access to treatment and linkages between care providers. In the Zuckerman College of Public Health, I teach graduate courses on social determinates of health and contemporary research topics within health promotion.

I worked at the Arizona Smokers' Helpline with the program evaluation team. My responsibilities included coordinating quality improvement initiatives, updating data collection instruments and writing compliance and research reports, including abstracts and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication.

I assisted for three semesters in CPH 306 - Drugs and Society, for one semester in CPH 404 - Fundamentals of Evaluation (online), and for two semesters in CPH 310 - Health Care in the US. I taught classes, wrote exam and quiz questions, and graded exams and essay assignments.

I worked with the biostatistical team, conducted literature searches, and wrote descriptive summaries of lithotripsy and kidney stone treatment outcomes. The project goal was to identify benchmark rates of stone breakage and treatment standards. I also assisted in developing an evaluation plan and process measures for quality improvement efforts. This work contributed to NexMed developing the first cloud-based, stone decision engine, allowing patients and providers to make treatment decisions based on patients' unique physiology and stone parameters.
