As a Director of Plant Operations, I work directly under the CEO. I oversee Maintenance, Housekeeping, Dietary, as well as most of I.T. work. My facility has passed all surveys, reports and inspections (Joint Commission, Fire Marshall, Insurance Companies, Corporate, and the Health Department) I join weekly meetings with the CEO and CFO to go over current and future projects. I have daily meetings with each of my departments to ensure tasks assigned are being completed and have an opportunity to see how each department is doing. I have experience with surveys and reports for Joint Commission, Fire Marshall, Insurance Companies, Corporate, and inspections by the Health Department. Well versed in codes and regulatory standards to maintain compliancy. I'm a member of ASHE, CASHE, AzCHER, and MyDEQ. As the Safety Officer; I do multiple presentations for NEO (New Employee Orientation). I manage and run monthly EOC (Environment of Care) meetings. I do weekly and monthly Quality rounds as to ensure our facilities are safe and harm free.

Overseeing the maintenance of the building, as well as dealing with the vendors and anything they need. Work on PM’s that are due as well as any of the work orders that need to get done. I have recently been assigned the duty of overseeing Environmental Services (EVS) and overseeing any needs they may have. Creating a log of when our Annual, Quarterly, and Semi-Annual PMs are due. See when we need to have our vendors called for service.

3 years of cross training with my manager in preparation to take on her position when she retires. Took part in Shared Governance meetings. Creating and managing PMs. Scheduling and booking venders. Preventative maintenance for multiple pieces of equipment and all four of our facilities. Help maintain Compliancy and learning more codes and regulations. Worked with generators (400kw and a 175kw generator). Troubleshoot equipment. Excel and Word experience. Strong PowerPoint skills. Basic electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry. Oversaw the productivity of construction in seismic retrofitting and insured they were doing their fire watch per regulation standards. Responsible for disabling parts of the fire system for Construction’s scope of work. Draw ups for construction. I have worked with and am able to read blueprints and schematics.

General maintenance and preventative maintenance of the facilities, including 8 other sites as needed. General plumbing, electrical, and painting.

Visiting job sites (residential homes, rental properties, commercial properties and medical facilities) and giving quotes to clientele on behalf of my employer for the work they want done. Organize and assign tasks for employees. Maintain project budgets. Inspect the quality of work at multiple job sites to ensure everyone was working within regulations at quality standards. Weekly meetings with my employer. Prepare invoices and deposit receipts. Strong computer skills including software and hardware. Complete various Handyman and Painter tasks.

Independently perform painting and handyman jobs from start to finish. Painting of interiors and exteriors of many residential homes, rental properties, commercial properties and medical facilities. Mudding and skimming walls, sanding, and putting on texture or desired finish. Roll walls and cut in, easy to moderate obstacles. Put stain finishes and clear coats on wood and cabinetry. Basic plumbing experience including installing toilets, faucets, dropping sinks, and using snakes for clearing blockages. Basic electrical experience including installing outlets and light fixtures. Basic carpentry such as building storage units, assembling furniture, hanging pictures/mirrors, installing cabinets, counter tops, doors, door packs, baseboards and crown molding. Lay flooring. Knowledge of Locksmithing, such as installing and re-keying locks, deadbolts and doorknobs.

File preparation for scanning, inventory, assisted with I.T. and various duties assigned.

Assisting the painters with dissembling a room, mask and dropping-off rooms in preparation for painting. Experience with paint sprayer, pressure washer and air compressors including maintenance and cleaning and disassembling the unit. Power wash buildings and various other structures. Cut in walls and ceilings. Ran errands and bought supplies for the job as needed. Once painting was complete, put the room back together and pick-up drops, masking paper, and tape. Cleaned and vacuumed the room.
