    I was recruited to plan and execute a new and successful strategy to grow the magazine’s online presence and direct the work of a team of 2 and outside vendors for such services as Web design, development of marketing materials, print and advertising sales, customer service, and circulation. I also wrote regularly published articles for this and one other publication. created an IT infrastructure for the organization, and managed daily and monthly tracks for online content. I introduced video content to the website and contributed both photo and video content such as that accompanying articles and interviews with such luminaries as Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz.• I took over online advertising and grew revenues from $100K in 2012 to $175K in 2013.• I was directly responsible for growing Facebook fans from 45K to more than 100K and Twitter followers from 15K to 27K, in the process building social media to become the leading driver of traffic to the website.• I established a communication and PR structure for the organization, which had no broadcast presence at all. Magazine representatives in 2013 had more than 30 radio and TV appearances, a number that is projected to double in 2014.• I relaunched the website, which had not been updated since 2001, a success that grew average user time on site from 3.5 to more than 8 minutes while reducing the “bounce rate” from 45% to 10%.• I outsourced print advertising sales, which are now projected to double in 2014, enabling the elimination of one position to save almost $100K and generate net savings and projected revenue growth of almost $300K.
