I received my bachelor's degree in marketing and organizational & professional communication from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2019. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to study international business at Copenhagen Business School with incredible classmates from all across the world. In my time overseas, I took on a comprehensive workload focused on addressing business decision-making in an increasingly globalized society. This experience gave me a unique understanding of how global politics and business decisions affect the everyday lives of virtually everybody on Earth.I am a member of the international business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. Throughout my collegiate membership, I operated as the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse College of Business Administration's newsletter coordinator, DSP’s Merchandise and Apparel director, and a mentor. With the various responsibilities in positions I've held, I've gained practical and professional experience while enhancing my time-management and organization skills. I began my career in July of 2019 as a Project Administrator at BI Worldwide in Edina, Minnesota. Unfortunately, as COVID affected the landscape of business in 2020, I was laid off and was unemployed for months as thousands of people searched for new jobs. I used my photography business to stay afloat, but found that working as the only employee in my own company was quite lonely. I In addition to my professional skills, I enjoy photography and have practiced for the past 9 years. Although photography started as a hobby, it quickly evolved into a passion when I enrolled in a photojournalism course in high school. Once I reached college and began my studies, I realized how important photography is in the world of marketing and chose to develop my photography skills even further. Photography has enhanced my attention to detail, understanding of composition, and technical ability to manipulate colors based on color theory.
