- Forecasted consumer buying patterns based on sales, trends, and economics- Effective management skills: leading, training and other duties.- Demonstrated ability to effectively learn organizational processes, policies and procedures. • Train on quality control standards with various national/international vendors.- Train staff on product knowledge and assist with various challenges.- Managed calculation of weekly budgets, business journals, and work schedules.- Coordinate special requests and processing purchase orders.- Maintain a high level of professionalism with VIP clients and vendors.- Monitor stock levels and initiate recommendations for repeat orders and consolidations.- Work with Buyer and Planner to prepare seasonal business review.- Coordinate all required activities for trunk shows, special events andpersonal appearances with the buyer and vendor.- Responsible for all sample inventory from ordering, to return of merchandise.- Conduct extensive brand and trends research in order to educate sale associates.- Prepare presentations, media kits, and event materials.- Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cashreceipts, or in performing services for customers.
