I started working at the Chilson Subaru dealership last fall while at school in Eau Claire. Through my connections with the Walser Subaru I was able to get this position in Eau Claire. Currently I take photos and upload them to their website. I also help maintain all the inventory on their website so when a car gets sold I go back and make sure it gets removed from the website. When I'm not taking photos of cars or updating the website I help out with random IT jobs that need to be done throughout their dealership network of three total dealerships. Some jobs have included installing computers, installing printers, updating computers, resolving network issues, resolving virus/random computer issues and installing credit card readers.

This summer I was a business analyst intern on the Orders and Planning team at C.H. Robinson. Throughout the summer I worked on many things but focused on three main projects. These included helping my teammates resolve issues after a large scale release and two analysis projects.Some of my responsibilities included requirements gathering, meeting with other teams, meeting with business users and meeting with developers to talk through the requirements that I wrote. I was able to complete both of my analysis projects this summer and they should be implemented in the system with our November 1st release. I have accepted a full time position with C.H. Robinson as a Business Analyst on the Orders and Planning team starting next May after graduation.

Burnsville, Mn

Last summer I had the opportunity to be a management trainee intern at the Walser Subaru dealership in Burnsville, MN. Throughout my internship I learned everything that goes into a dealership network. Walser Automotive group in the twin cities has 13 total dealerships. As an intern I learned about sales, finance, management and the car business in general. I was responsible for maintaining a customer base, following up with customers, talking with new customers and selling cars. By the end of the summer I sold 20 cars and was able to complete the sales process from start to finish on my own.
