Key responsibilities were; - Project management; both internally and externally. Internally this includes management of staff, job planning, budgeting, delegation of tasks. Externally this includes managing client engagements and reporting to various stakeholders.
- Diverse client base including transport, property and construction, manufacturing and not-for-profits. - Client relationship management including main contact for senior client management. 
- Review and preparation of financial reports, income tax returns, fringe benefits tax returns and various other compliance requirements for clients. 
- Tax compliance including preparation of income tax returns and division 7A compliance. - Tax planning, including review of forecast numbers in order to achieve the optimal tax outcome.- Staff training and development, through fostering and mentoring colleagues and enabling them to grow in their role and career. Key attributes I have as a result of my experience include; - Strong report writing skills gained through reporting to client management, Boards and Audit Committees.- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, honed through experience in statutory audit engagements. - Excellent team member and ability to work cohesively in a team environment to achieve the optimal outcome. - Budgeting/forecasting analysis.- Financial modelling.

Through the international affiliation Pitcher Partners is associated with, Baker Tilley, I was privileged to undertake a short term secondment to Wolrige Mahon of Vancouver Canada. During this secondment I was able gain exposure to new industries such as car dealerships, aviation and grocery. The opportunity also provided me valuable insight into business globally, while developing on a personal and professional level.
