I was given the opportunity to work along side an Engineering team at Mijack products in Hazel crest, Illinois. During this summer, I spent my time working on excel spreadsheets and gaining real world experience dealing with company inventory within multiple different warehouses. I was even given the opportunity to travel to Union City, Tennessee for a week to complete some more inventory work with my team at a warehouse the company owns.

During this experience as a Manufacturing intern I gained valuable hands on experience building frozen food machines used in mass production, for companies like Heinz, Kraft, and various frozen pizza brands. I was required to read engineering drawings and blueprints, as well as, electronic panel schematics to build large machines using various tools and manual labor. This experience broadened my horizons to understand the amount of physical demand that is usually required within manufacturing not just the engineering or building requirements and parameters.
