In April 2023, I started a new position as Senior Software Engineer working for Netsmart Technologies Inc.As of June 2020, I have started working as a Software Engineer for Netsmart Technologies at the Kansas City/Overland Park office.In May 2020 I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University with a focus area in software development. I have actively participated in coding assignments and out-of-school projects during my time at Iowa State which have greatly enhanced my personal communication and software developing skills. My graduating GPA was 3.28.In the Summer of 2019, I worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Netsmart Technologies as a part of their FUTURES program. Through the 10-week program, I extended the functionalities of one of their data analytics web applications and was able to deploy the new release to an "early-adopter" client. The extended app is now able to pull online data analytics automatically using a Python script I wrote, making the data collection process much more simple for my team. Finally, the application can now process and output analytics for two additional groups of clients, extending Netsmart's reach into the Post-Acute Health Care industry even further.Over the Summer/Fall 2018 semesters, I worked with Western Digital Co. in Rochester MN as a RAMP Systems Integration Co-op Engineer. While there, I carried out HDD tests and parsed resulting log data to ensure hard drives passed our customer’s qualifications before each deadline. Additionally, I developed a Python tool that efficiently automated the reporting for my team’s ERT drive testing, reducing manual reporting time by 90 percent. After that, I returned to Iowa State University in the Spring of 2019 to complete my degree.During a few of my on-campus school semesters, I worked as a Technical Assistant for Iowa State University's IT Services together with a team of techs to solve problems with and perform maintenance on computers and printers around campus. Additionally, as part of a large IT project during Summer of 2017, I led a team of contractors and part-time staff to assist in the replacement of nearly 4,000 ISU administrative phones within a 5-week period.Before transferring to Iowa State University, I completed my Associate's of Science at Kirkwood Community College with a GPA of 3.73.Competencies: Python/JavaScript/Vue.js/Java/C/C#/.NET/SQL, HTML5/CSS, IT hardware support, Dell imaging processes
