Additionally, was responsible for the management of the Johns Hopkins Technology Venture intern development program numbering up to 28 interns. -Created a new Project Management role for senior team staff members by working closely with 2 faculty driven pre-newco, high value opportunities by collecting data for use in and assisting in the preparation of business plans for the creation of new startup companies. Both projects are still currently in progress. -Managed the Cohen Translational Engineering Fund which awards up to $200,000 annually to faculty translational projects so as to provide valuable early stage funds technology development funds Disbursed over $800,000 to date over the past 2.5 years.-Developed a financial accounting algorithm and model for Johns Hopkins yearly patent expense reconciliation saving the university over $1 million over the last 4 fiscal years. The model more efficiently allocates the University's $7.6 million annual patent expense budget than previous models.-Developed an expense tracking tool for the office to manage external expenses associated with patent costs. This model has greatly assisted the office in staying under budget leading to an estimated savings of over $2 million dollars last fiscal year.-Assisted in drafting a business plan related to a $31 million fundraising effort for proof of concept demonstrations of a state-of-the-art well design for geothermal energy production. A CEO and COO were identified for this project and are currently raising funds. -Managed and developed a proprietary relational database management tool and workflow management system known as Scipher. -Primary Data Wrangler at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.

-Conducted analysis of technology invented by Johns Hopkins faculty in order to determine patentability, value proposition, commercialization track, and potential monetary value of the technology. -Developed relationships with university faculty while working closely with them on developing business plans, investor decks, and translational funding applications so as to assist in advancing their technology.-Managed the Cohen Translational Engineering Fund which disburses up to $200,000 annually to faculty translational projects so as to provide valuable early stage funds to help accelerate the successful commercialization of promising technologies. -Created a financial accounting model for Johns Hopkins internal yearly patent expense reconciliation process that calculates cash transfers between university divisions in excess of $5.6 million per fiscal year. -Assisted the Deputy Mayor of Baltimore in negotiations with the Baltimore City Police Officers’ Union by managing relationships with individuals up to and including various city agency heads. -Created an economized staffing model for the Baltimore Police Department’s patrol division that matched patrol staffing levels according to demand for service throughout the day.-Developed a fiscal model which quantified savings to be generated by changing staffing levels within different divisions of the Police Department for use in negotiations.
