Despite initial unclear specifications, through consultation with the stake-holders, project was delivered with minimal defects / rework.- Responsible for the maintenance and regular upgrade of virtual testing environments over a 5 year period. Monitoring nightly automated upgrades and conducting manual upgrades on request. Achieved minimal downtime of environments allowing uninterrupted testing to continue.- Week long period working at client site interstate developing SQL scripts to enable mass recreation/recalculation of correspondence records, involving 70 different tables.- Recognized by management twice for work excellence, receiving a 'Bravura Bravo Award'.

Working on Superb Superannuation management application, responsible for design, development, testing and documentation of enhancements and maintenance tasks, as well as enhancing Unix system scripts for the development environment and Regression Testing System. - SPAN, Proprietary in-house language, for code and database. - Unix operating system and scripting. - Mentoring of Junior DevelopersKey Achievements- Lead Developer for large international client for 2 years, primary design/development role and directing up to 3 team members.- Successfully undertook an 18 month secondment to Westpac / BT Financial in Sydney, working on their in-house Investment Accounting application (written in SPAN). - Implemented MQ queues into the Unix scripted Regression Testing System, for the purpose of testing batch file loads (such as SuperStream files). Included documentation for further maintenance of the enhancement.- Cross-trained in other products within the company: Calibre (Pension management system written in SPAN) and SAS (Superannuation System written in C) expanding my usefulness as a resource within the company. Also responsible for mentoring developer cross-training into Superb.
