• Lead engineering support for the electrical QSB3.3 platform for 6+ years, working globally with Komatsu and IPA on maintaining one of Cummins Inc’s most reliable engine platforms.
• Executed three separate Six Sigma projects resulting in significant enhancements to daily engineering processes, driving efficiency and productivity for my team, resulting in becoming Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
• Integrated new oil cooler design released on the B6.7 platform for Stage V, EPA 2024, and BSVI applications to be used globally to reduce piston cracking and improve oil quality/longer oil life.

Madison, Wisconsin Area

• Responsible for determining a way to predict fiber orientation of a fiber glass composite, using a compression molding process
• Program code and use computer simulations to help visualize fiber orientation inside the material
• Prepare the composite charges with different original fiber orientations to see if that results in different final fiber orientations once compressed

• Designed a mechanism to hold the trunk lid of the Dodge Dart in place during a robotic vision measurement
• Created a fully automated design to hold the trunk lid in the desired position for vision measurements so that variations in the current measurements are reduced as much as possible
• Implemented our design in the Chrysler Belvidere, IL Assembly Plant

Madison, Wisconsin Area

• Designed and constructed a fiber glass layout for the deck of an 8 foot sailboat
• Placed 7 layers of glass fibers all oriented in different directions and thicknesses on the deck mold to meet the needed strengths at each location
• Performed Vacuum Resin Infusion to impregnate the fibers with the resin
• Tested the final strength and weight of the boat and compared our sailboat to Hoofer’s sailboats (twice as strong but with the same weight of 250 pounds)
