The Program Coordinator oversees successful completion of day-to-day policy and government relations objectives and manages special projects:• Coordinates and supports CHA member councils and meetings, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes for: Legislative Council, Rural Council, Behavioral Health Council, Friends of Colorado Hospitals (PAC) Board of Directors• Works within department budgets to ensure project goals and objectives are met• Monitors the flow of projects and support strong internal communication to keep necessary CHA staff informed of project status• Procures department supplies, as needed, and serves as Office Manager of the CHA Annex Office (located near Colorado State Capitol) • Prepares monthly lobbying reports, expense reports, and fundraising disclosures for submission to the Secretary of State• Composes and distributes email and hard-copy communications independently and on behalf of VPs• Coordinates, oversees and supports annual projects, including (but not limited to): annual legislative reception (January), legislative thank you event (May/June), PAC collateral development and launch (May), Rural Health Conference (May), legislative report (July), CEO Forum (July), CHA Annual Meeting (Sept.) • Researches, drafts, edits and proofreads written materials for various reports, public comment, legislative testimony, publications and other communications • Collaborates with the Communications Department to update CHA website content for government relations and legislative issues• Collaborates with and provides occasional support to the Member Relations Department regarding ideas, planning, and staffing for CHA educational activities, in-person presentations, and conferences• Collaborates with government relations and policy staff and other CHA departments to develop and monitor organization-wide strategies and goals • Provides administrative and organizational support for the “Friends” Political Action Committee campaign
