CurrentAs part of the Demand Management team for GE Power - Gas, we focus on aggregating demand forecast signals from both our new unit OEM and services businesses, looking 3 yrs out, and then evaluating the capacity of the supply chain to make sure we can support the coming demand. We work with cross-functional teams across the business to identify capacity gaps and propose and drive solutions before we reach the identified gap timing. We help develop the strategy for the commodity and determine the optimal factory allocation of the demands across our factories globally. We also work with the various factories to identify projects that will help reduce lead times and also identify opportunities across the supply chain to utilize their slow moving inventory, all in an effort to generate a better cash position for our business.
