As the very first Equipment Maintenance Technician in Zoox’s manufacturing department, I established a comprehensive preventative maintenance program from the ground up. When I joined, no preventative maintenance schedules or executions were in place at all. I integrated over 50 different pieces of automotive manufacturing equipment into a custom-tailored maintenance calendar, adapting PMs to fit our specific equipment usage and cycle times. Some examples include:*reprogramming of urethane paths on the Fanuc robot cell (adjusted dispense volumes & path geometry)*Designing new components such as custom machined manifolds for brake fluid filling*Redesigning In CAD then fabricating an entire vacuum removal/filling suspension fluid cart built with aluminum extrusion, sheet metal, digital vacuum & flow gauge/displays, fluid level detections and solenoid valve control.Utilizing many different tools such as Solidworks 2018, Catia 3DX, Autodesk AutoCAD & Fusion 360, and additive manufacturing software.
