I joined Jackson’s Fencing in March 2018 to be trained on the operation of the CNC and support the current operator. Since May 2021 I have been the sole operator of the Doosan 750II, maintaining production throughout the day and ensuring all components are to the correct specification. Using the Fanuc 3 axis operating system, I am able to write the programmes needed for daily operation. I work consistently and methodically, overcoming any issues and ensuring maximum efficiency. My role at Jackson’s Fencing has always been as a machinist, running several machines at one time but over the past six months my work has moved to be 100% focused on the CNC. I am fully trained on the CNC and am keen to undertake training as a qualified CNC operator, to extend my knowledge and experience. I would like to work in an environment that uses Fanuc, as I understand the coding and this is where my expertise lies.

Joined as a team leader progressing to Sales Manager. During my 3 years as manager I led a team to double our yearly sales and achieve commission for the first time. Last year’s sales figures put the Canterbury showroom at 4th highest across 57 showrooms throughout the UK

I also achieved my NVQ Customer level 2 whilst here. The year before leaving the company I was solely in charge of the training for all new employees.
