• Supported several projects in the role of Design Engineer. Projects were for station development and improvement on various critical station systems. Role involved assisting with the execution of design deliverables from the conceptual design, preliminary design, detailed design, installation and closeout of the pro-jects. • These projects include the Pickering feeder replacement project, the In-ground waste Container Batch 6 project, Standby Generator Reliability upgrade, Buried Firewater South Yard Pickering upgrade, Darlington Air cooling unit Replacement, Reactor Waste Service building and Pickering Service Air Compressor re-placement. All of these projects incorporated design fundamentals and worked on improving the communication between designers and our stakeholders (i.e. Nuclear Generating Stations).• Managed design team efforts contracted to external Design Agencies and coordinating technical work from various work groups, managing cost & schedule.o Prepared monthly scorecards on the progress of the project and an evaluation of the Design agency submitted work and engagement with OPG.• Conducted market research and issue assessment to understand existing station function in order to determine effective solutions and identify problem scale.o This included the Pickering Service Air Compressor and the Buried Firewater South Yard Pickering Upgrade Project (i.e. conceptual design) • Lead and presented the quarterly department safety meeting. • Temporary assignment as the Outage Control Center Engineering Single Point of Contact. Worked alternating day and night shifts. Follow-up with ongoing engineering issues related to the reactor unit outage in progress and secured engineering support when needed. The results of my actions led to Outage remaining on Critical Path (i.e. the outage remained on tracked and there was no major delays).

• Completed 8 month rotations in Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Fuel Handling and Procurement Department. My duties included:o Attending weekly station meeting as the Procurement engineer delegate and providing update on departments work and how it affect the Operation schedule.o Attended bi-weekly station meetings as the Fuel Handling engineer delegate. As delegate I gave up-dates on the current actions being taken for the various issues ongoing with the Fuel Handling system. o Prepared monthly Equipment Risk Index Reports on the Fuel Handling Systems. These reports summarized the ongoing issues with the Fuel Handling system that month and their overall availability. • Attended school part time as part of Ontario Power Generation Engineering In-Training Program. Took classes on the basics of the CANDU reactor and the principles of design engineering. Completed my degree in 2018. • Shadowed an operation crew for one month at the Pickering Generating Station in order to better under-stand the daily operation of the station.

Scope of duties and responsibilities included: • Organizing the construction of a safety enclosure in a vital area of production. This involved: o Meetings with the production managers to define/validate requirements o Coming up with preliminary ideas for the enclosure o Narrowing down the type of enclosure that could be used o Obtaining cost estimates from suppliers for building the enclosure• Supported the re-organization of the final inspection area. This involved: o Creating drawings in Autodesk Inventor for various tools used in the final inspection area o Drawing up a layout for this area in AutoCAD o Working with the managers to find ways to improve the inspection line• Designing and drawing simple tools in Autodesk Inventor that would be used to assist production o This included a light box for the final inspection area, a gauge and a re-designed steel cavity for the graphite coater machines• Assisting Senior Designer for the creation and revision of several mechanical drawings in the company's database• Assisting with the re-organization of the plant's inventory

Scope of duties and responsibilities included:•Assisted Production/Exploitation engineers with various projects o Examples include helping with an abandonment program for wells in Southern Alberta and a swabbing program for newly acquired wells• Built a number of pipeline simulations using Piper for shallow gas wells• Helped with the annual pressure survey by o Looking at several groups wells and determine which wells in the group can be tested o Organized pressure testing by coordinating with the manager in the oil field and the contracted company ( Pure energy services or Definitive)•Constructed hall plots for various wells to determine whether a work-over was required•Look-up key information in well files for engineers in the field and office

Scope of duties and responsibilities included: o Going to a group of wells and tallying the daily production o Checking the levels of fluid inside the wells (i.e. where the heavy oil, water and sand were located in the well) o Entering the well’s service tickets into the CNRL database o Communicating with contractors and ordering jobs for the well (i.e. de-sanding the well, hauling a load of oil, etc.) o Performing maintenance on wells (i.e. re-igniting the well’s pilot light, re-fueling the pump’s engine, etc.)
