Performed building maintenance activities as it relates to tasks commonly found in an Arena/Recreation Center environment. Activities such as: monitoring refrigeration plant, cleaning/prepping spaces for bookings and social functions, operating ice resurfacer for ice rentals, supervising staff on shifts outside of normal business hours, managing time effectively during busy hours/sports tournaments/special events.

Maintained and beautified medians, boulevards, Town-owned buildings and parks from a horticulture perspective. Installed trees/shrubs, full-scale roadside buffer areas and floral displays. Operated tractors, skid steers, dump trucks and small engine equipment commonly found in the industry. Supervised and instructed Summer Students on proper planting methods, safe work best practices and professional conduct when dealing with staff and/or residents.

Maintained sidewalks and walking trails from a winter control perspective. Operated Trackless vehicles with plow and sander, shoveled walkways/steps and crosswalks in high pedestrian traffic areas throughout the town. Operated dump truck for handling of de-icing material.
