I hold a B.S. from the University of Colorado at Boulder where I majored in applied mathematics and minored in Business, Statistics, and Economics. At CU, I took classes in Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Fourier series, Probability and Statistics, Regression, and Numerical, Real, and Complex Analysis, among many others. In the summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to start mathematical research into new Positive Matrix Factorization (PMF) algorithms for the CU SPUR program for undergraduate research, and I have submitted a paper to a journal detailing my results. I have continued research into low rank approximations, and am currently researching how to approximate the error of an aggregation within finite models. I hope to continue this path by attending a graduate program focusing on data science and machine learning.I am very skilled in Matlab and R, and have experience in C++ and Python. My ability to learn new concepts quickly and be able to apply them has propelled my success academically and has given me confidence diving into new fields and advanced concepts.
