Manage the activities within the Transmission & Substation (T&S) Parts Team, including sourcing, expediting, forecasting and coordination with the other T&S business units. Assure that there is focused material and logistics support to support the operations, system expansion and system reliability work of T&S and Distribution. •Lead Scheduler in the development of critical path construction schedules for Transmission and Substation work in Exelon Energy’s East Region. Leading the development, review, and management of multiple schedules across the PECO Power’s Centrally Managed Projects group. Including an estimated portfolio of approximately 100 million dollars of spend per year and 40-70 individual projects. •Responsible for assessing and setting project goals and milestones as well as coordinating to stakeholders the different aspects of the schedule as well as the effect to the program as a whole. •First time initiatives for this position include developing and updating an Integrated Master Schedule for all of the Centrally Managed Projects high level activities. Generating new tools for improving cost engineers forecasts by reporting resource plans for all Centrally Managed Projects in MS Project Cost Loaded Schedules. As well as defining procedures and matrixes for improved definition of project schedule level of detail required as well as incorporating cross functional communications via schedule reports.•Major projects include:o Substation new transmission line and distribution side upgrade which incorporates full project lifecycle schedule, resource loaded, and critical path for new design, construction, demolition, and upgrades in the transmission and distribution of energy.o Developing large portions of and coordinating multi-critical path schedules for the installation of communications fiber and substation upgrades and communications equipment in support of a Smart Grid & Smart Meter upgrade projects.
