Led development stream for eMarketTrader, Standard Bank's advanced eFX single dealer platform.Responsible for building and supporting a suite of JEE (WebSphere) and Spring applications (Spring Boot/Batch) to support eMarketTrader. These applications cover user and counterparty management, reporting, authorization and authentication (JAAS / OAuth2 / Ping), post trade services and white labelling.

Joined the eFX team at Lloyd's banking Group to work on their electronic foreign exchange trading platform. Built an ECN simulator to support integration and regression testing. Built using QuickFIX/J and Spring in 3 months, the simulator provided a single interface to 360T, Currenex and Bloomberg venue functionality (ESP / RFSQ) for FX spot, forward, and swap quote requests and trade submission.Led the invoicing migration workstream at Trafigura as part of the Titan Project. Analysed and documented the data model and business rules of several invoicing and accounting systems, and then built an application to automate migration and reconciliation through a one-click operation. Source data was pulled in from multiple data sources and consolidated into staging tables using PL-SQL. This fed into a customized service layer (Java/Spring web application) which introduced parallel processing and leveraged the target system's business logic and persistence framework.

Worked on a cross-asset replatforming project with the Charles River Investment Management System.Built an integration layer using Apache Camel, deployed as a web application on WebSphere, concurrently consuming MQ-based XML messages and event-driven Spring MVC requests. I led the design and implementation of the new security setup and trade export work-flows for Swaps, Bonds, Futures and Money Market securities.

Engineered an extensible banking framework with JEE technologies.The framework provided automated persistence by generating Hibernate XML mapping through a reflection-generated domain model. Business object lifecycle functions were supported via annotated Java methods. I also worked on the development of a next generation Flash (Flex / ActionScript) based UI for the banking platform which provided automated form generation.
