Ben Cooper originally joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2006 and is currently a Senior Managing Director in the Corporate Capital Markets Group. In his current position, Mr. Cooper works closely with Cushman & Wakefield's many service lines to assist corporations, institutions and other owners and users in maximizing real estate value through the use of structured financial products, involving tax, capital and accounting strategies. Mr. Cooper leads the Investment Banking Group’s credit and net lease placement practice, maintaining an extensive network of insurance, bank, and net lease investors in order to enable efficient marketing processes and achieve optimal execution for clients.Mr. Cooper has worked on transactions including sale leasebacks, capital leases, mortgage financings, as well as other structured lease transactions, and advisory assignments on behalf of corporate and institutional clients including AT&T, Verizon, Citigroup, EntreCap Financial Corporation, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and NYU. Mr. Cooper received a B.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June of 2006. He is a registered securities representative (Series 7 and 63) and licensed in New York State as a real estate salesperson.
