This idea has definitely shaped my path.My entrepreneurial journey: At 17, I started hand-making leather goods that I sold to my teachers and friends' parents. It turned out they loved it. So I headed to France to study design at L'École de la Chambre Syndical (l'IFM).A change in plans: Fast forward to 2019. I was all in on the Digital Nomad life, travel and remote work combined. Then, 2020 happened. Travel plans went on hold, and the pandemic hit, leaving me unemployed. That's when "Collect" was born. It's a sustainable backpack line made from recycled ocean plastic, perfect for the eco-conscious remote worker. This project combined my love for sustainability with my entrepreneurial spirit, proving I'm a go-getter, learn-fast kind of person.Learning and growing:While building Collect, I knew I wanted to sharpen my skills. So, I enrolled in a Digital Marketing and Communication apprenticeship, which is where I discovered a passion for Growth Marketing. Since, I've deepened my skills in:- Paid social advertising- Email marketing campaigns- SEO optimisation- A/B testing- Measuring success through ROI- Marketing Automation- UX design matters ‍- Retention and churn analysisBeyond work: I spent a lot of time with my Rhodesian Ridgeback, hitting the gym (rowing, rugby, & biathlon, too!), indulging in Korean food and beers with friends, or exploring the Atlas mountains on a hike.
