About Benjamin Tomchik
My career has given me some unique experiences, from sitting in the cockpit of Air Force One as a junior White House staffer to be quoted on the marquee of a Broadway theatre for a review I wrote as a professional critic. Through it all, I've built a reputation for bringing clarity to situations, appreciating history, and being committed to public service. I was incredibly fortunate to begin my career working in the White House for George W. Bush, before further developing my public affairs and policy experience at the American Insurance Association. My work at the George Washington University School of Business and as a Chief of Staff at Keller Williams Reality provided me with experience in business and an appreciation for the impact the private sector can have in driving social impact. In my current role at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, I manage teams that bring clarity and understanding to nuanced policy challenges, elevate the debate regarding the Federal budget to the highest forums, and take pride in engaging with diverse stakeholders to make an impact for our country. I look forward to collaborating with you all across my professional and volunteer engagements see a Broadway show, discuss the latest Presidential memoir, and advance policy and public service. In 2021 I will begin writing my first book, which will likely prove my most challenging goal yet!
