Intro:I am currently a Manager of Workflow Consulting that lives by one simple rule. Add Value, Every Day. With over a decade of experience at Kaiser Permanente, Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) I have grown from my humble beginnings in IT/Application Support, into having large influence on strategy and implementation of Standardized Clinic and Messaging Workflows in Southern California. For that growth, I am thankful to have many mentors, supporters and a fair amount of luck through my journey. I take my leadership role to heart and work hard to ensure that I am providing a pathway to success not only for my self, but for my team and those around me.Current Role:I am fortunate to lead Workflow Consulting for the Behavioral Health Service Line, and The Everest Program, a peer-to-peer manager symposium helping ambulatory clinic leaders navigate today, and conquer tomorrow. I also provide oversight to our team’s internal data, technology, branding and video production committees.About Me / Strengths:I can attribute much of my love for these strengths to my love for board games, card games, and video games. Played my first video game, Mario Bros, on NES at the age of four (4) and I never looked back. As I hit middle school, my friends introduced me to Magic: The Gathering and scratched the strategic itch my brain desires, which led me into many Friday Night Magics, Junior Super Series, and State Regional Tournaments. Post high school, I rode the Halo 2 wave with my friends and spent endless hours honing our skills in hopes to earn spots on Major League Gaming Competitions (MLG). Spoiler Alert: I didn’t make it. Lastly, in my adulthood I feel in love with League of Legends, and played countless hours of fun with friends and rank up to a peak of Gold. So why, so much in my bio about games? About Me TLDR: Honestly, video games, or games in general are a huge part of my life and serve as a way for me to connect with others and challenge my brain in the way that it needs to be challenged. Games have taught me how to think strategically and strive for continuous improvement (meta).Outro:Lastly, I love my job and have a profound respect for my colleagues and teams, whom I’m humbled in my opportunity to lead, and from who’ve I’ve learned so much from.
