Hello, I am a concept artist and illustrator, and currently studying 3D Game Art at SAE Hamburg while raising two toddlers. My big passions are storyheavy AAA videogames and film/tv series (coming of age, fantasy, sci-fi, blockbusters, indie, drama, history). During weekends and vacations I love go play pen&paper RPGs and to travel.My focus are character concepts (2D), I also enjoy to create environments with landscape and architecture, using a 3D&2D workflow. I love to think about lighting and camera angles and lenses.I started my career as a freelance artist in 2009.In 2011 I had been employed as an illustrator and art director at Ulisses Spiele GmbH (biggest european p&pRPG publisher and distributor). I managed a big team of freelance artists and worked in house as the assistant of the publishing director.From 2012 to 2015 I went to freelance again to craft my artistic skills. I worked with renowned clients as Wizards of the Coast, VOLTA and Applibot.In 2015 I started working inhouse at Goodgame Studios as a concept artist for the mobile RPG "Heroes Realm" where I worked closely with the art director, game design, the 3D artists and animators. We did preprocuction and production. Building a world from scratch while keeping an eye on the target audience. I learned a lot about studio pipelines, and about the technical and visual restraints. We worked with Unity.In 2016 I switched to the Marketing Department. There I did highpolished marketing illustrations, app icons, 3D overpaints and I managed a small team of junior illustrators. I enjoyed working closely with conversion optimization, product marketing management and for sure also with my art director Carsten Biernat.
