Research under Prof. Emma Brace to optimize the production of xylitol from lignocellulosic biomass.

Designed bid package and pre-trip report for a boring and well implementation project for the Mkutani Primary School in Dodoma, Tanzania in collaboration with Civil Engineers from the Boston Professional Chapter of Engineers Without Borders.

- Assisted Port Civil Engineers in updating engineering drawings, and creating new Request for Proposals or Qualifications to fulfil On-Call construction/services Contracts.- Automated On-Call budget tracking, construction statuses, professional service agreements, supplements and contractor details.

- Evaluated environmental impacts and community concerns for the expanded utilization of modern carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology.- Created and presented briefing to geotechnical department heads in preparation for a pitch to expand CCS funding in the 2022 California Air Resources Board (CARB) scoping plan.

- Contacted potential clients for information intakes and explanation of services and fees.- Drafted statement of facts for incoming clients to provide to litigating attorneys. - Conducted research and connected with partner agencies to gather essential information for service of legal documents.

- Educated community members and interns on new policy; developed outreach initiatives through social media; connected with community members to increase community interest in city proposals.- Researched and wrote city & state grant opportunities for a local small businesses. Developed reports on past policy and compiled current initiatives supporting Oakland's LGBTQ community to expand city grant offerings.
