School Ict Support Officer (Sio) & Network Administrator

As part of 3 person ICT which supports 1200+ clients with multiple devices my Current position as an School ICT Support Officer and Network Administrator requires me to but is not limited to;-Diagnosing issues with Macbooks & iPads; Software issues, user issues, Repairs on Macbooks & iPads; Faulty hardware issues & Physical Damage, Logging repairs through Apples GSX system-Install/maintain both Physical and Virtualized Server environments (VMware); backing up, updating & managing the datastores-Maintain Servers; software upgrades, maintenance (software and hardware) (Windows Server 2008-2016 and macOS Server) -Maintain the college's DNS, DHCP, AD, OD, & multiple VLANs-Install/maintain server applications; Edval, BookIT, SEQTA, WebHelpDesk, Oliver Library (Softlink), PaperCut Printing-Using Remote Desktop software to access all sites servers and configurations-Running Netgear ReadyNAS Systems to maintain Backup Schedules/Automations of 5 physical hosts and 13 Virtuals; Software/Firmware Upgrades, checking the backups have been completed-Installed & now Maintain 90 Aruba Wireless Access points; Cisco Switch Backbone-Wireless Network Troubleshooting; Identifying faulty WAP's, investigate faults and inconsistencies on the network. -Maintain helpdesk; Close jobs in line with policy, complete jobs in appropriate time frame; e.g: Faulty data projectors, No sound, VGA/HDMI inputs inactive, Apple TVs inactive -Deploy Google Apps for Education Assist users in the use of Google Apps on a daily basis (Google Mail, Drive, Calendar, & Sites) & Maintain Google Cloudshare Sites pages-Testing latest software packages in conjunction with our system & Network; macOS & iOS Betas-Update our Deployment images (macOS); Latest macOS release, update applications, configure system settings-2018; Replaced Panasonic NTU with Avaya VOIP System upgraded to 90 Handsets; Moving from Apple TV to ViVi Presentation - From 50 ATV to 23 and 32 ViVi Installed
