My responsibilities included reviewing existing architectures and providing improvement suggestions and migration scenarios. I supported other architects by introducing Software Development Lifecycles and advising on technical solutions and development team organization. I also provided high-level estimations for long-term projects and activities, including negotiations with clients. Additionally, I collaborated with customers to develop new architectural models, ensuring the feasibility of their implementation. This role required strong collaboration with and reporting to top management on financial and organizational aspects.Beyond software architecture and technical management, I managed a small team of 3-4 people to develop Infrastructure as Code solutions for two projects. In these projects, I provided architectural guidance and developed initial versions, which the team then followed up on. The projects included comprehensive Infrastructure as Code solutions, covering aspects such as OpenShift Production Clusters, SSO functionalities across all infrastructure tools, BareMetal Kubernetes development clusters, AWS EKS development clusters, Git repositories, Binary Registries, CI/CD platforms, backup solutions, custom Kubernetes operators, and deployment on AWS and IBM Cloud. My responsibilities included providing technical concepts, overseeing development, and contributing directly by designing POCs (Proof of Concepts) and framework applications. My main focus was developing a generic framework based on a custom DSL (using Xtext). This framework featured a generator for REST services, including data acquisition logic, mappings from data services, and meta models for UI screens. Additionally, we developed a comprehensive UI framework for Angular that interpreted the generated meta models and presented them to the user. This framework enabled us to produce over 700 UI screens in a very short time and ensured low-cost maintenance. The framework remains in use today. Show less

The architecture was designed as a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) utilizing SOAP services, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Database, Oracle BPM, and AngularJS with KendoUI for the frontend. In a later phase of the project, we decided to replace Oracle BPM with Camunda. The team reached a peak size of approximately 20 developers. My personal contributions to this project encompassed nearly all technical aspects, including developing Web Services, Business Services, BPM development, Frontend Development, and contributing to the software architecture. My architectural contributions primarily involved introducing concrete solutions to problems, along with the necessary documentation and follow-up. Show less
