As the Senior Developer at Headjam, I am responsible for all web and app development. Working closely with graphic designers, animators, broadcast designers and clients, we produce some really fun and challenging projects.All sites developed by Headjam are fully responsive, custom-designed solutions. App development is also an exciting part of our work, and we produce both hybrid and native apps for iOS and Android devices.I also provide training to clients for all our apps and web-based projects, work directly with clients on support issues, and provide comprehensive but easy-to-digest documentation and user guides.

In my role at BYBO, I worked with small business owners to design and develop websites. These were primarily WordPress-based websites, with the occasional request from a client Drupal or Joomla.This position allowed me to be involved throughout the production process; from the concept, wire frame and mock-up stage, through to development, testing and implementation.I was also responsible for the maintenance and management of many clients’ websites. Tasks varied depending on the client’s plan, but included everything from managing backups and software updates through to content publishing.

The newly-created position of Communications Manager required me to bring into line all the company’s communications and marketing material. This involved the development of a style guide and the redesign of all existing communications material. A range of products – including a website, company profile, and marketing brochures – were produced. Signage, handouts, and gift bags were also developed for presentations and conferences, and were often required on short notice.I also worked with a range of stakeholders to develop proposals for major projects going to tender. The proposal and tender process required excellent time and project management skills.

As Online Manager, I developed and implemented strategies to increase our visibility, grow our user-based, and promote user-interaction online.I assisted stakeholders throughout WWF with the development of projects and media campaigns (including social media), and provided support for many WWF National Offices around the globe.
