Luke Kellett is Managing Director of creative agency Headjam, that specialises in brand strategy, digital communication and advertising across digital and traditional platforms.Luke’s passion is leading Headjam’s team of ten to produce innovative, simple and effective communications that seek to stimulate change. Changing the world is a lofty aspiration that the agency has had some success in over the years within the four areas they specialise; Health, Education, Community and the Arts. Luke is a leader in emerging digital technologies, and works closely with organisations across Australia to provide integrated creative solutions that measure results and add real value to business outcomes.Luke began his career in London working in media production and photography for global music labels Atlantic, Sony Music and Universal. He moved to Australia and worked in Account Director roles for many creative projects in Sydney and Melbourne. Luke is a graduate of the Communications Council’s AdSchool and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) professional development courses. He is a current board member and Treasurer of Newcastle Historic Reserve Trust, that are charged with the preservation of the historic buildings of Hunter Street, including the former Newcastle police station, “The Lock-Up” that is opened to the public as a contemporary art space. Luke’s work is heavily influenced by his individual creative expertise and skills in photography and video production. His photographic portfolio has been recognised with honours from the Melbourne Design Awards and the State Library of Queensland Spirit of Woodford Award. His ethnographic collection documenting Melbourne’s bohemian spirit was recently purchased by the State Library of Victoria.
