In his 50 plus years in the industry Mike has created campaigns across a diverse range of categories.He has worked with a long list of renowned agencies including JWT, Publicis, McCann Erickson, FCB, George Patterson and Clemenger BBDO.Mike has also created the launch of major brands such as Optus and Hahn in the Australian marketplace and two of Australia’s longest running campaigns, one for Johnson & Johnson and the other for Colgate.Over the years Mike has developed his passion for social marketing and its ability to change peoples attitudes and behaviour for the benefit of the individual or the community as a whole. His experience in social marketing is vast having worked on many campaigns for both the Federal and State governments. Major entities with which Mike has collaborated include NSW Health, the Government Census, the RTA and EPA. Notably, for the latter the high profile ‘Tosser’ campaign. Mike joined Headjam as Executive Creative Director in 2014 after collaborating with the team on a series of mental health focussed campaigns for the Schizophrenia Fellowship NSW, the Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia and the Mental Health Commission of NSW.Mike’s passion for the industry and how it can make a positive difference for organisations and the wider community remains as strong as ever.Mike’s work has been recognized throughout his career at national and international award shows. AWARD, D&AD, New York One Show, Campaign Press, British Design Council, New York Festivals, London International, Irish Advertising Awards, Clio, Folio, AGDA, Caxton and Cannes Lions.He has served on the the AWARD committee, been a judge on numerous award shows and Chairman of Judges at AWARD.
