Working at Vestaboard, I designed and implemented their app’s client-facing API. I used graph-QL to model the app's metadata, and implemented the API’s database access logic in Kotlin. The API allows partners & developers to write custom apps that send messages to Vestaboards (e.g. Slack or Twitter integration).

Boulder, Colorado

Designed and wrote a controller and accompanying YANG model to manage video processing OpCode nodes in the cloud. The controller used RESTconf (a protocol for mapping YANG models to a RESTful interface) to construct, tear down, and edit OpCodes, and had RPC methods that started and stopped the video processing functions of existing instances of OpCodes.

I designed and built out the Kotlin-based database access layer for the sales component of the Vestaboard app, and implemented custom sales logic using the SalesForce API to assist the sales team in managing and keeping track of customers and clients. Additionally, I brainstormed and implemented UI changes to the Vestaboard Rails app, and collaborated on.
