Provide inspired leadership for the operation. and help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

Ensures that individuals performing service-related tasks have the competence to do so without putting the health and safety of themselves or others at risk. Effectively deploys, embeds, and ensures Sodexo standardized processes are in place. Utilizes all operational processes to drive continuous improvement and celebrate successes. Utilizes tools within Sodexo Healthcare to drive and manage middle of the page to deliver positive outcomes. Manages unit finances in the Sodexo budgets. Effectively delegates operational responsibilities to appropriate individuals/positions. Follows best practices in decision making to determine best solutions for the business. Recognizing, respond and reporting incidents, adherence to all operational safety practices and protocols, and drives a safety culture throughout the team.

Direct and coordinate daily operations of the facilities services team, oversee all levels of staff activity and performance. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions, develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance, ensure company policies and procedures are always followed. Screen, interview and manage the onboarding process of new hires in EVS, Communications and Facility Services. Conduct EOC, Emergency Management and Life Safety orientation for all new hires onboarding at the facility. Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary. Conduct and oversee EOC meetings, prepare reports based on environment of care rounds, conduct and critique fire drills. Review and negotiate vendor contracts, schedule monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance services. Directing and overseeing the operational needs of the department. Provide leadership for continuous improvement of the EVS operating model within the facility. Provides staff leadership and makes sound decisions in support of the hospital’s mission and vision. Demonstrates leadership by providing an optimal environment for patient care, safety, service, and value. Manages the day-to-day operations of the department and ensures a consistently high level of cleanliness and aesthetics to patients, visitors, and staff.

Provide administrative support to Environmental Services, Biomed and Facility Services. Oversee the day to day operations of valet, security and communications operators. Oversee building maintenance schedule, supply ordering, scheduling appointments/meetings, answering incoming calls, mail distribution, overseeing vendor accounts, providing meeting support, scribing for board meetings, perform analytic and query work, as well as compile reports based on data. Responsible for the organization of files, binders and policies to ensure the hospital is Joint Commission compliant.

Supervise and manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements, ensure payroll is processedin an accurate, compliant and timely manner, prepare weekly and monthly reports, process payroll ona weekly basis for over 300 drivers, manage and resolve payroll discrepancies, input and process multi-state wage garnishments (child support, bankruptcy, student loans), process reimbursements, conduct weekly driver payroll orientation, review and improve payroll policies and procedures. Assist with HR duties such as employee on-boarding, answering employee benefits related inquiries, completing and processing terminations and exit interviews, and help plan training and development.
