Senior Management Analyst And Branch Chief (Lieutenant Colonel)
U.S. Army
• I developed the management framework the Army uses to synchronize equipment modernization with unit availability per the new Sustainable Readiness Model. Project scope includes 5,000+ tactical units from Active and Reserve Components, 400+ hardware systems that are in active fielding, and management activities that are shared between the Department of the Army Staff, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology, Forces Command, Army Materiel Command, Army National Guard, and United States Army Training and Doctrine Command. • I developed the management framework by which United States Army Forces Command participates in Department of the Army decision-making bodies to validate and resource new hardware systems on behalf of the operating force: Army Requirements Oversight Council, Army Rapid Capabilities Office, and Rapid Equipment Fielding.• On behalf of United States Army Forces Command, I managed two of the Army’s top six capability portfolios: Combat Vehicle Modernization and Mission Command Modernization. Project scope included investment strategy, modernization priorities, and fielding actions.• While assigned to Headquarters Department of the Army G-3/5/7 Force Management as the Force Integration Branch Chief, I managed the Force Management processes the Army employs to document requirements to build the President’s Budget and document authorizations to establish mission-ready units.• On behalf of United States Forces-Iraq, I established the management framework to transition materiel requirements from supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom to Operation New Dawn. This effort involved decreasing the amount of materiel in theater for common use items while increasing other systems to mitigate operational risk due to reductions in aggregate forces.• I was assigned to four distinct supervisory positions during this eight-year period, providing leadership to 19 direct reports and more than two dozen cross-functional teams.
