As a conservation volunteer and intern, I have worked with senior biologists, and veterinarians in order to learn how to protect and preserve the diversity and integrity of natural ecosystems and the animals that live in them. I am passionate about wildlife and conservation. I am a dedicated individual who is committed to making a difference in the field of ecology and conservation.Having spent three years as a youth educator and a formal internship with Moody Gardens, I am an effective educator regarding various wildlife species, their habitats, and conservation efforts. I enjoy working with animals in a husbandry setting and engaging with the public to share my knowledge about conservation and the environment.I would like to expand my work to ecology and natural resource management through the environmental consulting field and the zoo keeping field. With today's increasing land use and environmental change, I believe wildlife conservation and population ecology is important.
