Perform various audits and reviews of complex auditing and prepared reports for management, Division Directors, Contracting Officers, and Contract Specialists.  Conduct comprehensive analysis of all factors affecting cost/price to provide a sound factual basis for determination of contract prices that are fair and reasonable both to the Government and contractor. Provide surveillance of contractor submissions to decide compliance with the Cost Accounting Standards and develop, negotiate, and direct the detailed steps required for corrective action when a noncompliance is discovered.  Provide technical assistance and advice / interpretation to Program/Project personnel in developing government cost estimates before contract solicitation.  Conduct comprehensive desk and field audits of a variety of complex contracts when applicable. Develop recommendations for final settlement and closeout of cost reimbursement contracts using audit reports provided by cognizant audit agencies.
